Our client works at the heart of the global travel industry and provides the technology which keeps the travel sector moving. Today, we are looking for the Software Architect who will define, drive and maintain Altéa Inventory software architecture with respect to customer requirements. Altéa Inventory is the inventory management solution used by over 140 airlines of all sizes in all markets. Dedicated to airlines flights handling, it uses the most recent revenue and schedule management technology.

Project scope:
Working within the Productivity Engineering group composed of 50 people worldwide.  The group is multi-disciplinary, and they continuously deliver lightweight solutions to airlines faster, with high quality, deployable anywhere, all while giving the most thrilling DevOPS experience to all teams.

Main activities:
• Developing, maintaining & monitoring software components shared across all teams
• Driving changes and deploying tools, framework and process in the teams
• Coordinating software, architectural, hardware/middleware changes
• All while ensuring high Quality level
• Responsible for the Altéa Inventory software architecture throughout the lifecycle development taking into  consideration system constraints and global strategic architecture directions
• Direct and coordinate software architecture studies
• Identify modelling, simulation and prototyping opportunities
• Provide knowledge on state-of-the art software architecture, taking future developments into account
• Articulate the design to the development teams
• Select appropriate design standards, methods and tools
• Contribute to the legendary Inventory Architecture Community, educate, study options, and recommend  evolutions

Basic requirments

• Solid experience in agile methodology
• Gather and formalize business requirements (functional, security, technical)
• Communication skills
• Experience working with C++, Java, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Linux, Windows 7
• Basic knowledge of Angular or Python is a plus
• English professional
